Competition and Teamwork
There is something special about the privilege of putting on your school’s athletics uniform and competing. Our players represent Covenant School both on and off the court as we travel the region competing against area schools. Our students strive to compete at the highest level and to show Christ-like sportsmanship in every situation, and in every outcome.
Covenant School offers boys and girls varsity basketball and girls varsity volleyball. In addition, we have middle school basketball and volleyball teams. Each year we hold the Covenant Classic Basketball Tournament and compete in the National Christian School Athletic Association (NCSAA) National Championship every March. In all our sports, our team goals are to foster an atmosphere of “family.” Our players love to hang out together and build and grow friendships that will last a lifetime. This happens every day in practice and in games. We also look for opportunities to do so outside of the gym through cookouts, bowling parties, special trips and more. We want our players to get to know their team members and support each other.
The Covenant School coaching staff is committed to teaching players how to play the game and give their best effort in every situation. We desire to see our players grow and mature spiritually, academically, athletically and socially. We realize that there are many life lessons to be learned through sports, but also recognize that learning to follow Christ, serving Him and others, is the utmost priority.
We have a great group of coaches who help guide players on their athletics journey, offering encouragement and support along the way. You are invited to come out and support our Covenant Eagles!
